ERP Software Administrator I

Summary

Brennan Industries is looking for a talented, mission-driven professional to work closely with a multidisciplinary business operations team (finance, accounting, purchasing, manufacturing) as an ERP Software Administrator focused on support, processing, and ongoing ERP system administration. The individual filling this position will collaborate with the distribution, finance, accounting, operations, manufacturing, and engineering teams to configure, govern, and continuously monitor and improve the ERP system. This is an entry-level position and training will be provided!

Primary Responsibilities

  • With support from Brennan technical leadership, maintain essential IT
    operations around the ERP application
  • Assist with process governance and workflows in tandem with Operations team
  • Support and train users on daily ERP tasks and overall navigation
  • Troubleshoot integration and data exchange issues with related systems
  • Create and maintain process and procedure documentation
  • Create and assist with EDI setup with our critical partners
  • Perform server administration tasks including user/group administration, security
    permissions, print services
  • Ensure security through access controls and logging
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
  • Assist with data adjustments and governance around best practice, pricing
    changes, and commissioning
  • Monitor application heath and respond to issues as they arise
  • Participate in continuous evaluation and improvement of software tools to best satisfy
    business and security requirements
  • Interact with the IT help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting,
    identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed

Knowledge and Skill Requirement

Basic Qualifications

  • Customer-centric mindset and ability to conceptualize and implement end-to-end solutions that scale
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Bachelor of Science in computer science, accounting, finance or another related field, or equivalent experience
  • One to three years of application support or helpdesk experience
  • Understanding of core business processes related to distribution, manufacturing, and accounting
  • Overall strong focus on security and compliance 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Tribute, EPICOR, NetSuite, SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics desired
  • Experience with administration of on-premise and Cloud-based SaaS applications
  • Familiarity and experience with identity management, single sign on (SSO) and MFA preferred
  • Knowledge of information security and data protection best practices
  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, and/or aerospace company
  • Experience with Tour de Force (TDF) or Salesforce
